Memorial Quilts - made from his shirts part 2

 Here are the other three memorial quilts I made....


 I used flannel for the binding and the back of each one.

I made this one for the mom, it's a bit bigger than the other three.
I cut one of his pockets and incorporated into the quilt


 

What an awesome experience it has been to make these quilts.

Kathleen!! These are spectacular! I love the other fabrics that you have used to complement the shirtings . the bindings and backings are wonderful and I love the addition of the pockets- such perfect details! i am sure the family will be thrilled!! hope that you had a great time in Houston!!!!
