I published a pattern!

I designed a new pattern using my Leaves Galore Template. It's called Hot and Cold Flow. You can purchase the PDF pattern here in my etsy shop.

Hot and Cold Flow 19" x 29"
The pattern will show you how to use your stash of batiks to create your own flow!
Here are the templates...three sizes and multiple uses! You can see all the cool things you can do with the tool here at Sue Pelland Designs. Sue lives in the next town over and we have been quilting friends for 12 years. She is a talented quilter and a genius when it comes to designing tools quilters need.

There are lots of photos with clear instructions to help you create your own flow quilt.

Below are a few samples of quilts I've made using the Leaves Galore Applique Template.

I've been having fun playing with color!

I love the negative space!!!

Flow with Texture - Fiberactions challenge reveal

Our Fiberactions challenge word for September is
texture.
Flow with Texture 16" x 20"

Facing this was a bit of a challenge but it worked! Pinking shears were the secret:)

I bought some needle felting supplies when I was at the Lowell Quilt Festival from one of the vendors, Jane Davila. I took an online class from her so I was happy to meet her in person:)
I loved needle felting! I played with the silk and wool fibers.

I added a few beads in this perfect apple green color.

I'm working on publishing a pattern from this design using my Leaves Galore Template. It's in the works and should be for sale in my friend Sue Pelland's Booth in Houston at the International Quilt Festival! I have chosen it as my piece to donate to the IQF silent auction.
